The PEARL iZUMi Attack Road Shoes have the comfort, features, and performance that rivals significantly more expensive cycling footwear. A heavily perforated, seamless upper uses low profile bonding to create a breezy and comfortable fit. To this upper, a 1:1® composite power plate with carbon fiber forefoot positions the riders foot low and close to the pedal surface, and has both 2-bolt and 3-bolt clipless pedal cleat mounting options so these shoes are able to be used by any clipless pedal. A BOA® L6E Fit System can be micro-adjusted to dial in the fit around the ankle and mid-foot, while a hook and loop strap is used to keep the forefoot and toes happy. To prevent the feet from sliding when coming to a stop or when walking around a convenience store to get the fluids and fuel to finish the ride, a EVA rubber heel with a 1cm rise and a rubber toe pad combine to add traction and confidence to safely move around.
