The Ultimade Politex constructed upper is supple reduces pressure points and has excellent support for efficient power transfer even if the shoes get soaking wet; this upper also has a very wide opening so a foot can quickly be inserted and secured with the wide hook and loop straps. Speaking of power transfer, the carbon and nylon composite sole has outstanding durability and the stiffness to ensure power is transmitted efficiently through the pedals. Last but not least, the sole accepts any three bolt road bike-style pedal cleats, and a replaceable anti-slip heel pad adds some traction to make dismounting the bike a bit safer and extends the useful life of the shoe.
