Shimano SH-RX710 Gravel Shoes (Black) (43.5) (w/ Cleat Pontoon)

Shimano SH-RX710 Gravel Shoes Description:

The Shimano SH-RX710 Gravel Shoes have been designed to strike an ideal balance between comfort, durability, and performance. These shoes are formed around Shimano’s DYNALAST 2.0 technology that will reduce tension on the feet plus there is now additional toe room so the feet will feel less cramped and fresher throughout the ride. Up top, a supple and ventilated synthetic material wraps the foot in a supportive embrace, and dual micro-adjustable BOA fit systems are installed on each shoe to allow the rider to easily personalize the fit and security of the shoe. A carbon fiber reinforced midsole transfers power efficiently to the pedals, and an innovative cleat pontoon system is included that creates a more stable connection with the pedal and protects the cleat when putting a foot down in the dirt. Last but certainly not least, the durable and grippy rubber sole lets the rider confidently walk around stores when gathering fuel and refreshments as well as providing the traction needed to get through hike-a-bike trail sections.

Features:

• Shimano DYNALAST 2.0 technology offers more room in the toe box than the original DYNALAST technology, and provides an anatomical shape with optimized heel and toe spring curves that follow the foot’s natural contours for better comfort and energy conservation
• Dual BOA L6Z micro-adjustable fit systems evenly disperse pressure over more of the shoe, and allow the rider to independently optimize the comfort and security of the heel cup and the rest of the shoe
• Lightweight synthetic leather upper is abrasion and stretch resistant to provide great durability and foot security, and perforations allow airflow into the shoe to keep the feet cool and dry
• Carbon-reinforced midsole has a low stack height that improves pedaling efficiency and provides a more stable connection with the pedal, plus a stiffness index of 9 (out of 10) ensures more of the riders energy is transferred to the pedal
• Gravel optimized, grippy rubber outsole ensures there is plenty of grip when moving around off the bike
• Included, replaceable Pontoon Cleat System creates a secure and stable interface with a SPD clipless pedal’s surface for maximum pedaling efficiency regardless of cleat position
• Cleats are sold separately
