Shimano GRX FC-RX820-2 Crankset (2 x 12 Speed) (Hollowtech II) (175mm) (48/31T)

Shimano GRX FC-RX820-2 Crankset Description:

The GRX FC-RX820-2 crankset is Shimano’s 2x offering in the GRX lineup, designed for riders who want the ability to fine-tune their cadence across wide-range gearing and varying terrain. This utilizes a 48/31T chainring set and combines with an 11-34T or 11-36T cassette to make closely spaced gear steps the top priority over the widest range to help maintain smooth transitions and consistent cadence. This gearing also maintains backward compatibility with existing HG freehub wheelsets. This 2x crankset provides a chainline that measures 2.5mm wider than the standard, which allows the rider to run a wider tire, making the GRX 2x groupset a highly effective option for all-around gravel riding.

Features:

• +2.5mm chainline when paired with the FD-RX820 Front Derailleur, allowing for wider tire clearance
• 2×12 drivetrain setup prioritizes closer gear steps over a wide gear range
• Mechanical shifting with hydraulic disc brakes
