Schwalbe Romy Tubeless Mountain Tire (Black) (27.5″) (2.4″) (Mid/Trail) (2027)

Schwalbe Romy Tubeless Mountain Tire Description:

The Schwalbe Romy Tubeless Mountain Tire is a versatile option that fills the gap between all-mountain tires and hard-core enduro/gravity specific tires. Low-profile central knobs roll efficiently, and have a shape and wider spacing that effectively self-cleans themselves of mud and debris; robust shoulder blocks dig into the ground and deliver reliable cornering traction. A tubeless-ready folding bead has a special chafer to protect the tire where the rim contacts it, and on gravity tires this bead area receives a special design that greatly reduces the risk of the tire burping during hard runs.

Features:

• Low profile central knob height with wide knob spacing produces a light and fast rolling tire with the versatility to take on a wide variety of trail and weather conditions, filling the gap between gravity specific tires and all-mountain tires
• Alternating central knob placement and shapes deliver great traction for propulsion and stopping, and are spaced far enough that they can effectively self-clean themselves from mud and other trail debris
• Robust shoulder knobs dig into the ground to produce confident and predictable handling
• Mid compound is the firmest compound offered on the Romy with damping and grip that deliver a comfortable ride along with adequate rolling efficiency and durability
• Trail casing reduces the layers used in the construction to reduce weight and to create a smoother riding tire, but is still puncture and impact flat resistant, making this a great casing for riders that ride uphill and still want to retain the ability to fly downhill
• E-50 E-Bike rating
