Q36.5 Wind Shell Description:

The Q36.5 Wind Shell is an easily packable and ultra-lightweight emergency layer that can be quickly tucked into a jersey to provide warmth and comfort during a high speed descent. Inspired by professional riders stuffing the front of their jerseys with newspapers for a bit of insulation before they head down the mountain, this wind shell has an outward facing fabric that better blocks the wind to prevent the riders core from getting too chilled. The inside of the shell has a fleece backing that not only traps a comfortable insulating layer of warm air next to the riders body, this material will also pull moisture away from the skin or baselayer so the inside of the jersey can dry out faster, ensuring the rider is more comfortable and ready for the next climb. Best of all, the Q36.5 Wind Shell weighs only 40 grams and despite being large enough to cover anyone’s torso, it can be bundled up incredibly small so it can be stashed in a pocket or frame bag until it is needed.
