OneUp Components EDC Tap Kit Description:

The OneUp Components EDC Tap Kit includes everything needed to prepare a fork’s steerer tube to install an EDC Threaded Top Cap and EDC tool storage system (both sold separately). This kit utilizes premium materials and manufacturing to ensure easy operation and long tool life, and includes a star nut removal tool, tap, tap guide, and even a gauge to perform one last check to make sure your fork is compatible with this tap kit.

Notes: For use on alloy steerer tubes only;DO NOT use this tap tool on carbon-fiber steerer tubes. To ensure smooth thread cutting operation and to lengthen the lifespan of the tool, frequently apply either chain lube or cutting fluid to threaded area of tap during the thread tapping process to reduce friction and the buildup of heat.
