Those rims also feature a shallow asymmetrical shape that helps to even out the spoke tension in the wheel for better performance and comfort. A Mavic Classic 6-Bolt disc hub in the center of the wheel smoothly rolls on double sealed QRM cartridge bearings, and the rear hub uses a dual ratcheting freehub design that engages quickly so a rider can power up climbs and over trail obstacles. Finally, straight pull steel spokes are used to tie the hub to the rim for slightly less weight with enhanced durability, ensuring the rider has the wheel they can rely on to get wherever they want to go.
