Fizik Vento Omna Road Shoes Description:

The Vento Omna Road Shoes have been designed to provide outstanding comfort, performance, and value for road cyclists. Perforated high density polyurethane uppers utilize an asymmetric/offset design and special lacing pattern to evenly distribute the pressure over the top of the foot and provide the support needed for excellent power transfer to the pedals, and those perforations help pull cooling air over the top of the foot to keep the feet happy when temperatures start to climb. Attached to these uppers is a well-ventilated, moderately stiff R5 nylon sole plate with cleat mount holes that are positioned slightly towards the heel of the shoe (when compared to the traditional cleat mount placement), which can lead to less knee and foot discomfort especially when sprinting or riding in a forward aerodynamic position. Tying everything together are single bi-directional BOA cable retention systems which can be quickly adjusted on the fly to ensure maximum comfort and performance is maintained when tackling longer days in the saddle.
