Featuring an incredibly stiff carbon outsole, Vega shoes offers a superior ergonomic build by integrating the outsole within the shoe’s outer layer which reduces the stack height as well as enhancing the support. Fizik revamped their approach to shoe last shape design by aligning the shoe on a straighter axis and reducing the heel drop, giving riders a more natural feeling when pedaling along with more room in the toe box for extended comfort on high-intensity rides. Asymmetric upper construction greatly reduces pressure across the top of the foot while providing excellent security and support throughout the shoe, while breathable, ventilated fabrics in select zones improve ventilation, ensuring the riders feet stay cool and comfortable as the rider powers through the ride.
