In doing so, the wheels undergo higher loads and torques on longer distances, due to the extra weight and power from the specific frame/motor constructions. Hybrid Road wheels are built to assist with these additional loads by increasing the strength of the individual components that make up the wheel.

• Pay special attention to the spacing on the front wheel. 12 x 100mm is the standard size for road and gravel bikes. 12 x 110mm is much rarer.
