The Assos Winter Long Sleeve Skin Layer utilizes unique materials and manufacturing techniques to help a rider to combat the moisture and wind chill that comes with cold weather bike riding. A blend of synthetic fibers, carbon fiber, and elastane creates a base layer that fits snuggly on the skin for great breathability, excellent moisture management, and odor prevention. A tighter weave that mimics the protection typically offered by multi-element jackets is used on the front of the base layer to boost protection from cold wind and moisture, and an open, more breathable weave is used under the arms and on the back for better core temperature regulation.
